The Chloé small basket is a compact day bag with a casual yet sophisticated attitude. Rooted in Chloé's commitment to social responsibility, it features an outer leather patch explaining the story behind the basket and signed by its maker.
Shiny calfskin adds an elegant touch, while the cotton lining has a leather drawstring closure. Refined leatherwork on the handles and contrast topstitching finish this accessory.
Crafted from fair-trade paper, the sustainable basket was made in partnership with the World Fair Trade Organization. The WFTO Guarantee System is an international verification model focused on social enterprises that put the interests of people, workers & artisans, and the planet first. They impact one million livelihoods, 74% of which are women.
This product was made in collaboration with Mifuko. In Swahili “mifuko” means pocket. With fair pay and less dependence on unpredictable farming as a source of income, Mifuko empowers its artisans in Kenya and ensures no one is left with empty pockets.
