Chloé's iconic crêpe de chine is woven from organically produced silk in this classic printed blouse, designed in collaboration with the artist Caroline Denervaud. The vibrant motif showcases an exclusive Denervaud artwork. Concealed mother-of-pearl buttons run through the front, while hand-glazed ceramic buttons adorn the collar and cuffs.
This product was made in collaboration with Akanjo, a certified WFTO supplier. Akanjo is a social enterprise located in Madagascar that places equal pay and employees' health & wellbeing at the core of their priorities. The porcelain buttons on this item have been crafted and hand-stamped by a French ceramicist. Multiple firings (2 to 5 for the most intricate pieces) guarantee a glossy finish, rendering the finished piece completely waterproof and ensuring the stability and permanence of the colours and enamels over time. Given the artisanal nature of the buttons, each one is unique and may vary slightly. In order to preserve their beauty over time, we recommend avoiding any impact and contact with perfume, alcohol or chlorine.
Organic silk manufacturing restricts the use of pesticides, insecticides or harsh chemicals and incorporates methods that respect biodiversity, improve soil quality and reduce water consumption.
