Description
Crafted in a timeless basket shape for an effortless summer mood, this large Woody basket is made from fair-trade and recycled multicolor hand-braided wool stripes and linen. Echoing the Maison's Woody mule, the line's Chloé logo ribbon lends graphic contrast and a signature touch. The bottom of the basket is protected by a Chloé-embossed round leather patch for durability.
Chloé partners with the World Fair Trade Organization. The WFTO Guarantee System is an international verification model focused on social enterprises that put the interests of people, workers and artisans, and the planet first. They impact one million livelihoods, 74% of which are women.
This basket was made in partnership with Mifuko. In Swahili, “mifuko” means pocket. With fair pay and less dependence on unpredictable farming as a source of income, Mifuko empower its artisans in Kenya and ensures no one is left with empty pockets.

This basket bag is made from a woven fabrication adapted to leather goods requirements. A water-repellent treatment was applied to the fabric, but rain exposure should be avoided. Avoid rubbing this material against color-contrasting materials and shield it from humidity, light, heat, liquids and greasy substances. Follow care instructions on the leaflet.
Recycled wool keeps its natural softness and warmth, with a reduced environmental impact. Using recycled wool enables us to extend the lifespan of a fiber that has already been produced.
