Introducing the Circular Denim project
Reducing the environmental impact of the denim jean – an essential item in every woman’s wardrobe
The goal of the Circular Denim project is to reduce the environmental impact of an essential item in every woman’s wardrobe: the jean.
This product is part of our Circular Denim line, which is inspired by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s #JeansRedesign guidelines to create jeans that are used more, made to be made again, and made from safe and recycled or renewable inputs.
The Ellen MacArthur Foundation is a charity that develops and promotes the idea of a #CircularEconomy, which is designed to eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials, and regenerate nature.
All circular denim products by Chloé are made from deadstock fabrics for the purpose of reusing what has already been produced, while the components including organic corozo buttons and embroidery threads are recyclable.
