Chloé gives Carte Blanche to Luo Yang and Iris Yang

With a sense of mutual inspiration, photographer Luo Yang and model Iris Yang collaborated for the first time for this Chloé Voices series featuring Natacha Ramsay-Levi’s Spring ’21 collection. “I wanted to authentically present a vision of Chinese girls wearing Chloe: elegant and powerful,” says Luo who deliberately selected “natural situations” both indoors and out. Wearing looks that articulate classic house codes through contemporary collage, Iris says, “I felt very relaxed during this shoot, so hopefully the photos come across with an easy, unrestrained feeling.” Indeed, through gesture and reflection, soften and strength, the essence of their collaboration emerges. Says Iris, “For me, collaboration is always a subtle trust relationship between the model and the photographer. It’s like silent communication through the camera.”
