Description
Crafted in a timeless basket shape, this Woody large basket is handwoven by independent craftswomen in Kenya. The brightly colored embroidered Chloé logo webbing details the natural fiber for graphic contrast and a signature touch. The bottom of the basket is protected by a Chloé-embossed round leather patch for durability.
This basket was made in partnership with Mifuko, a certified WFTO supplier. In Swahili, “mifuko” means pocket. With fair pay and less dependence on unpredictable farming as a source of income, Mifuko empowers its artisans in Kenya and ensures no one is left with empty pockets.

This basket bag has been carefully threaded with natural fibers by master artisans. Each piece has been carefully selected for its natural beauty. Any irregularities and color variations are inherent to this kind of natural fiber and a result of artisanal finishing. Protection from direct light, heat and rain is advised. Should the item become wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Due to its slightly abrasive surface, we advise you to avoid contact with delicate materials. Avoid intense rubbing with abrasive materials. Fill the bag with tissue paper to help maintain its shape and store in the provided dust bag. Leather parts can be cleaned using a soft and dry cloth.
