Large Woody basket in natural fibers

Product information

Crafted in a timeless basket shape for an effortless summer mood, this large Woody basket is handwoven by independent craftswomen in Kenya. Echoing the Maison's Woody mule, the line's Chloé logo ribbon details the natural fiber for graphic contrast and a signature touch. The bottom of the basket is protected by a Chloé-embossed round leather patch for durability.

Marking the start of a long-term commitment to environmentally and socially responsible production, the basket was made in partnership with the World Fair Trade Organization as part of the first fair-trade luxury collection. The WFTO Guarantee System is an international verification model focused on social enterprises that put the interests of people, workers & artisans, and the planet first. They impact one million livelihoods, 74% of which are women. Each basket is signed by the craftswoman who made it.

Care Instructions

• Each piece has been carefully selected for its natural beauty. Any irregularities and colour variations are inherent to this kind of natural fibre and a result of artisanal finishing. Protection from direct light, heat and rain is advised. Should the item become wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Due to its slightly abrasive surface, we advise you to avoid contact with delicate materials. Avoid intense rubbing with abrasive materials. Fill the bag with tissue paper to help maintain its shape and store in the provided dust bag. Leather parts can be cleaned using a soft and dry cloth.
