Description
Crafted in a compact, round basket shape for an easy summer attitude, this small Woody basket is handwoven from denim by independent craftswomen in Kenya. The line's signature Chloé logo is embroidered on webbing. The basket has a drawstring fastening and a long leather strap for shoulder and cross-body wear.
This basket was made in partnership with Mifuko, a certified WFTO supplier. In Swahili, “mifuko” means pocket. With fair pay and less dependence on unpredictable farming as a source of income, Mifuko empowers its artisans in Kenya and ensures no one is left with empty pockets.

The Woody line is characterised by the signature Chloé logo carried over from the Maison's iconic mules. It showcases a modern, minimalist silhouette ranging from nano to large sizes.

This basket bag is made from a woven fabrication adapted to leather goods requirements. A water-repellent treatment was applied to the fabric, but rain exposure should be avoided. Avoid rubbing this material against colour-contrasting materials and shield it from humidity, light, heat, liquids and greasy substances. Follow all care instructions on the insert.
Recycled cotton keeps its natural softness and inherent quality, with a reduced environmental impact. Using recycled cotton enables us to extend the lifespan of a fibre that has already been produced.
