Since Chloé’s inception in 1952, the legacy of our founder, Gaby Aghion, and her vision of a femininity resolutely focused on progress have inspired our commitment to advancing the status of women and achieving gender equality. From the very beginning, Gaby Aghion worked with both women and men to develop their professional skills. We have continued this approach by recruiting talent from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive employment policy that respects diversity. As of March 2026, women hold 69% of our international leadership positions.
Our employees are key agents of change in Chloé’s transition toward a business model driven by its mission and commitments. For this reason, since April 2021, we have integrated measurable sustainability indicators—tailored to their respective areas of activity—into the performance plans of all our teams.
Members of our Executive Committee, including our CEO, also have objectives linked to social and environmental impact. To support everyone through this transformation, we regularly organize training sessions on gender equality and climate change. We ensure that 100% of employees on permanent contracts worldwide—including those in our boutiques—have full access to our training programs covering topics such as sustainability and gender equality.
Regarding more specific subjects, we also organize regularly updated technical training on low-impact materials and eco-design.
To encourage our teams to make a meaningful impact and bring the Maison’s vision to life through their daily actions, we offer our employees the opportunity to volunteer for 16 hours with NGOs that align with the vision of our "Women Forward: Towards a More Equitable Future" project. We partner with numerous NGOs worldwide that contribute to gender equality, environmental protection, and social equity through mentoring, awareness-raising, and fieldwork initiatives.
we signed the Women Empowerment Principles of the United Nations.
