EDITION 1: MIE OLISE KJÆRGAARD

Mie Olise Kjærgaard is an internationally exhibited Danish artist. Eight paintings, seven existing and one exclusively commissioned are on view at the Chloé Paris Saint Honoré flagship, a visual conversation coinciding with the first collection of Chemena Kamali for the house.

Kjærgaard works in painting, occasionally sculptural objects and installation. Her large scale paintings depict subjects of female liberation — women who tore off the corset to ride a bike, play tennis or music. Women who dare living their own lives, experiencing life from the inside out, women seen through the female gaze.
