CHLOÉ SPRING 2027 COLLECTION

The Chloé Spring 2027 collection emerges from an ongoing dialogue with the House’s heritage, exploring how defining moments in its history continue to shape its enduring identity. Particular attention was given to the way specific eras helped establish lasting codes and signatures that transcend time within Chloé’s legacy. Revisiting one of the Maison’s most significant sartorial chapters, the collection renews its focus on tailoring as a defining language of Chloé.

This collection reconnects with a pivotal moment in the late 1990s era of the Maison, when legendary British Savile Row tailor Edward Sexton joined Chloé’s atelier as a tailoring expert, introducing the refined construction of Savile Row into dialogue with the House’s feminine vocabulary. Best known for reinventing British men’s tailoring in the late 60s and 70s, and dressing the Beatles and Mick Jagger, Sexton injected stronger proportions into the more traditional tailoring silhouettes of that era. Rooted in the dialogue between sartorial tradition and Chloé’s sensual spirit, the collection reinterprets tailoring as both heritage and continuous expression.

This season, tailoring reasserts itself through elongated jackets and the three-piece suit, establishing a refined new proportion within the Chloé wardrobe. Small hourglass jackets, micro riding coats and crisp tailoring in grey mélange wool and white pinstripes are styled with lace-up waistcoats, cropped lingerie tops and delicate flou pieces, creating a silhouette where structure and softness exist in natural balance. Fluid satin slips, garment dyed lingerie dresses and lace-encrusted flou introduce movement and lightness, while a palette of pastel neutrals and sun-faded tones is punctuated by black and white. Black lace galons and trimmings lend depth and definition throughout the collection.

Deborah Turbeville’s photography provides the collection’s visual framework through its evocative imagery. Her photographs dissolve the boundaries between fashion and emotion, favouring atmosphere over narrative. Women emerge through softened light and intimate interiors, suspended between memory and reality. Rather than capturing a moment, her images evoke a state of mind in which emotion is suggested rather than explained. This sensibility informs the collection, lending each silhouette an intimate, understated sensuality.

The Spring 27 collection continues the House’s exploration of a femininity expressed through effortlessness, where sensuality is understated and never excessive. Precision of construction and softness coexist naturally, shaping a language of dressing that moves fluidly between structure and lightness, discipline and spontaneity, while reaffirming tailoring as an enduring signature within the evolving identity of the House.
